Good reminder, Ross! Perhaps that's why I usually have put the notice here in the General Discussion. So here are the details:

FOURTEENTH AUSTRALIAN WORKSHOP

This is proposed for Melbourne, one weekend in April (but not the Easter weekend), Friday evening to Sunday late morning. The workshop, if held, will be a “budget" one, run along the lines of those held in the past six years, where lower numbers have meant running it on my own, and using a suitable guest room rather than a conference room. Numbers will be limited to seven participants, with a minimum of three. To keep airline costs down for those attending from outside Victoria, I need to know that the workshop is proceeding by 24th February. If I do not have at least three firm registrations by that date, the workshop may be canceled.

I am offering four dates in April, and will choose the weekend which is possible for most of those who show interest: 31st March-2nd April, 7th-9th, 21st-23rd and 28th-30th.

People who intend to stay at the venue for the weekend need to know that the venue charges $240 for their room (total for the two nights, but could be more if booked less than four weeks ahead). Also, they will need to cover the cost of meals. Because the numbers attending will have a direct bearing on the fee, I cannot at this stage say what the final fee will be. A pointer is that two years ago, with six attending, I needed to charge $250 each.

At this stage I am requesting expressions of interest, to be emailed to me WITHOUT DELAY (send to recov2000@gmail.com). Your email should specify which of the four weekends are possible for you. Further information will be appear here in the Forum.

I attended all earlier Australian workshops, and warmly recommend this coming workshop as an opportunity to receive substantial help in moving into eventual recovery from paruresis. Taking part in a workshop can, I believe, considerably reduce the amount of time involved in moving into satisfactory recovery, assuming that you keep up your practising methods as explained in the workshop.

Do not hesitate to email me for any further information you require.
REMINDER: I need to hear from you without delay. 24th February is too late.

Best wishes, JohnW

WORKSHOP CANCELLED

We have passed the date by which I needed to hear from interested persons. There has been only one Melbourne inquiry, and that came with the condition that the workshop fees be not too expensive. Running a workshop in Melbourne inevitably includes the cost of my travelling and accommodation, and given the small number of inquiries from N.S.W. and Queensland (there were no others), I have decided to cancel the Melbourne workshop proposed for 2017.
