Encouraging Post

Hi all,
I have permission to post the contents of an email I recently received from one of the five participants in the Melbourne workshop held at the end of April. "XXX" also attended the workshop. People will vary in the rate at which they make progress towards Paruresis recovery, but I think this report indicates that if people devote themselves to serious practice, then surprising results can follow.
"XXX and I have been making some really good progress. I've been using the breath hold method and seem to be able to urinate at bowls without too much trouble at all. As a system it seems to suit me and it feels like it’s getting easier all the time. In fact I haven’t had a missfire with it yet but I haven’t been around people I know (which I feel is the most difficult situation). I'm still avoiding urinating in front of people I know (at the local pub etc) but I feel my confidence has really grown, even though I only practice a few times a week.
XXX has improved massively as well over the last few months. He is very dedicated. We meet every week at the Casino, often on Saturday nights now so we can practice when there are more people around. We both don’t feel this has the same grip on us that it used to, in fact I don’t think about it too much at all now (which can make it harder to force myself to practice.)
Next year we plan to go to the football regularly as our goal is to be able to go to the toilet at the busiest times (1/4 time etc).
Thanks heaps for your help. I'm sure I speak for both of us when I say how much we appreciate your support. You've really improved our circumstances and our lives are markedly better for it. Thank you."
