Re: Update on my paruresis

Hi, I assume you have read Steven Soifer's book "Shy Bladder Syndrome". When I started down my recovery road I purchased another book from the IPA site,- "Free 2 P - A Self-help Guide for Men with Paruresis". It wasn't cheap ($25 US plus postage in 2007) but well worth it. It contains many practical...

Re: Success

Well Done !!! I have had similar experiences with my fluid loading practice through the years. Your question - What to do?? Keep up the practice and you will continue to improve and be able to get that new job. :)

Re: What Happens at a Workshop - My experiences in 2006

G'day Eric,

all the best for the coming workshop. The travel from Perth will be worth it.
Please post afterwards to let us all know how it all went, and your experiences during the weekend.

Ross.

Re: Urologist Flow Study

Hi Sam, glad the tests went Ok, and I hope that the Flowmaxtra helps with your flow problems. I had similar problems with a constricted urethra, unknown until Jan 2006, when a urologist tried to go in and remove a 5mm kidney stone stuck in my bladder. If you want to read all about it here is a link ...

Re: Urologist Flow Study

Hi Sam,

sounds like a good doc to check you out fully b4 prescribing anything. Hope the tests go OK and help to explain why you are having trouble.

I have sent a Private Msg in answer to your more personal question.....

Ross.

Re: Urologist Flow Study

Hi Sam, glad to see you are catching up on your reading thro' the old PAA posts on this web site. Hopefully it will help you to see that many are suffering like you with paruresis, and that you can improve/recover from it. My HoLEP surgery when well in 2013. I had very little pain, and it took a cou...
